Let's keep this short – it's Boxing Day, you shouldn't even be near your computer or reading emails on your device. This is a day for relaxing, planning an adventure, embarking on an adventure, surfing and rinsing 2017 out of your veins and resetting for an unbelievable 2018.
You shouldn't be stressed. You should be completely relaxed, free of demands or anxiety. It's a day for you and your family. In fact, make a week or two of it ... we're going to.
The start of January is a funny time of year for us – most of my commercial clients (they're the ones who actually pay my bills) are away, so it's all about camping, adventure and surfing for us. Of course, I'll still ping into your inbox at precisely 10:30am (NZST) every Tuesday like I have for the past six and a half years, but other than that volley of images, I'll be mostly sipping an Emerson's from the gentle sway of a hammock somewhere in the Catlins.
Thanks for an awesome 2017. We just keep growing Box of Light subscribers every year and mostly that's thanks to people like you sharing our positive vibes of New Zealand's beach and mountain lifestyle with all your friends. So here's to you!
